Welcome to Comfort & Joy. This business has been started by Karen Gaughan, a registered nurse with over 25 years of nursing experience and a breast cancer survivor. I realised at the time of my treatment that there was little choice of  local bra providers, and I did not always feel like going into the public arena of shops. I was put off buying clothing from catalogues and  the internet as there was no guarantee that they would fit, and I disliked having to return them and chase up getting my money back.

I will give you a mobile measuring and fitting service, and a friendly face you can trust. I believe that you should have correctly fitting underwear, and I can obtain a  range of sizes personally chosen to suit your needs.

I specialise in mastectomy wear and believe that your confidence and comfort should not be compromised following a life changing operation, and to that end, provide a measuring service and supply a range of  bras, prostheses and swimwear for you in the privacy of your home.

I also provide a service for nursing and residential homes and can source a comprehensive range of underwear, nightwear and accessories for women and men of different ages and needs. I currently cover the Hastings, Rother and Eastbourne areas.

I will arrive in my easily recognisable little blue van.
